I'm Destin and I'm a self taught artist originally from Seattle, WA, and currently residing in San Diego, California. I specialize in Acrylic painting and Digital illustration, but am familiar with a variety of mediums, techniques, styles, and subjects.My art journey started at a young age as a way for me to cope with my mental health issues and trauma, but what started as a way to cope and vent blossomed into a passion for artistic creation in all forms, and eventually motivated me to start selling my artwork in 2018.I've been selling paintings & illustrations, commissions, prints, stickers, and more since then, and hope to continue on for the rest of my life.My landscape paintings are a way for me to connect with nature and honor it in a way that I can enjoy it from home, as I struggle with chronic pain and am unable to go hiking like used to. I grew up hiking through nature trails in Oregon and Washington with my family, and nature feels like my true home. Painting my favorite nature spots that I can remember is a way for me to find happiness when things inside feel dark.I also still utilize my art as a way to vent. I was diagnosed with CPTSD at a young age, and was diagnosed with a DID in 2020, and utilize my art as a way to share my feelings around my trauma in a way that feels safe so that my feelings don't eat my alive. I don't share most of these works, but some are available on my instagram.

Art should comfort the disturbed, and disturb the comfortable.

By Ordering a Commission You Agree to The Terms Of ServiceArtist Rights:Artwork commissioned is for personal use only and may not be redistributed or sold without explicit permission from me.I reserve the right to refuse or cancel a commission at any time.Disrespect will not be tolerated and your commission will be refunded for any unfinished work, and you will be banned from purchasing my art in the future.PaymentsPayment is due in full upfront for commissions below 500$, for commissions above 500$, 50% of the commission is expected upfront, and the remaining 50% when the commission is completed.Payment is done using Paypal goods and services via invoice using USDA rush fee will be charged for tight deadlinesAdditional fees may be charged for excessive or major revisions or reworkings of the artwork.Fee charges are dependent on complexity and type of commissionClient Obligations:Write a clear and detailed description of your commission request and contact information on the commission request form.Provide relevant reference images of the subject(s)Maintain respectful and professional conduct throughout the commission experienceRespond in a timely fashion to artist questions, concerns, and updates, otherwise your commission may be delayed despite any deadlinesCarefully read through my TOS and Commission InformationPay your total or 50% of your total upfront to book commissionThe Commission ProcessI will provide a basic sketch for you to approve and will allow 2 revisions during the sketch processI will update you with the line art after the sketch has been approvedI will update you with WIPs periodically during the commission process so you can see the progress being madePlease ensure you inform me of your deadline before I start the commissionIf any delays occur I'll be sure to let you know immediately and I'll let you know when I'm able to work on your commission again.Digital Art Commissions may take up to 2-4 weeks, depending on the complexity of your commission.Traditional Art Commission times vary by project complexity, canvas size, and medium.Revisions

Once the final work is approved, a refund is no longer permittedYou may cancel the commission at any time, and I will give you a partial refund for the remainder of the work that has not been done.
